Chicago bassist/composer Matt Ulery’s Wake an Echo features Loom, an acoustic jazz quintet that includes a unique front line of bass clarinet and trumpet. Influenced by current indie rock and the folk music of the Americas and Europe, the group forges a coherent group sound that is both fresh and refined.
